BREAM BAY COLLEGE NEWSLETTER Thursday 7 March, 2024 FROM THE PRINCIPAL Kia ora koutou It has been a busy start up for 2024. The excitement of a new year, new goals, as well as multiple events to support our rangatahi to connect and be active. Last week we ran the Inter House Athletics competition. It was a fun day with a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Student Leaders from every house were visible and proactive helping to organise younger ones and lead events. Congratulations to Inverness House for taking out the comp. There was also some amazing individual performances and some records broken by our young athletes. We were really impressed with the number of our students who gave it a go even when they were nervous about participating in some events. As a school community we want to reiterate the message I gave at our powhiri at the start of the year, intimidation or violence are not acceptable.
